Low bulk, useful organisation and the right attachment method: these are the starting points for choosing a pouch. Blue Force Gear's Ten-Speed designs use elastic pockets that conform to their contents and lie flat when empty. Zipped utility pouches, dump pouches and Trauma Kit NOW! carriers cover other storage needs.

Mission Gear Pro carries a selection of these Blue Force Gear pouches in Germany. This guide explains the differences and helps you choose the right version. Available colours and current stock are shown on each product page.

Ten-Speed: Understanding the Elastic Design

A Ten-Speed Mag Pouch uses an elastic front to hold a magazine or a similarly sized item. Ten-Speed elastic and ULTRAcomp laminate keep the construction slim. Remove the contents and the pocket collapses close to the mounting surface.

That makes it useful when unused pouches should take up little space. The design does not provide a rigid opening that stays open, so consider how it handles reinsertion with your particular magazine. The Helium Whisper attachment on the MOLLE models covered here connects the pouch to a suitable MOLLE/PALS platform.

Ten-Speed, Flapped or Stackable?

All three versions share the elastic pocket concept. The choice comes down to the additional function you need:

Version Key Feature Models in Our Range
Ten-Speed Open elastic pocket M4: Single, Double, Triple
Flapped Ten-Speed Adjustable, removable flap M4: One, Two, Three Mag
Stackable Ten-Speed MOLLEminus on the front M4: One, Two Mag

Classic Ten-Speed: Slim and Open

Our open-top M4 range includes the Ten-Speed M4 Mag Pouch, Ten-Speed Double M4 Mag Pouch and Ten-Speed Triple M4 Mag Pouch. They hold one, two or three M4 magazines, with the Double and Triple pockets arranged side by side. Choose according to capacity and the width available on your platform.

Flapped Ten-Speed: Added Coverage

Adjustable hook-and-loop flaps cover the tops of the magazines and supplement elastic retention. They can also be removed. We carry One Mag, Two Mag and Three Mag versions for users who want an additional closure over the opening.

Stackable Ten-Speed: Front Attachment Points

The One Mag and Two Mag versions add ULTRAcomp MOLLEminus attachment points to the front. These accept compatible additional pouches or accessories. This lets you add storage within the same mounting footprint, although loaded front pouches also increase the depth of the setup.

Similar name, different construction: the Double M4 Magazine Pouch is a separate CORDURA pouch with a flap and an external elastic band for one or two magazines. It is distinct from the side-by-side Ten-Speed Double design.

Our Bestseller: Ten-Speed Triple M4 Mag Pouch

The Triple version is a bestseller at Mission Gear Pro. Three M4 magazines side by side and a slim profile when empty make it a good choice when you want three magazine slots in one pouch.

Pistol Mag Pouches and the Dump Pouch

The Ten-Speed Single Pistol Mag Pouch and Ten-Speed Double Pistol Mag Pouch bring the same slim concept to one or two pistol magazines. Depending on dimensions, the elastic pockets can also hold a multitool or compact light. Fit and retention depend on the specific item.

The Ten-Speed Dump Pouch, Belt-Mounted adds temporary storage. Its bag stays folded beneath the elastic pocket until needed. The version in our range attaches directly to a belt; Blue Force Gear specifies belts up to 2 inches, approximately 5.1 cm, wide.

Utility Pouches: Choose Around the Contents

For several small items or equipment that needs an enclosed compartment, zipped pouches offer another way to organise your kit. The three models in our range suit different shapes and storage needs:

  • Small Utility Pouch: a compact compartment for smaller equipment, such as tools or a cleaning kit.
  • Medium Vertical Utility Pouch: a taller format for longer items. Internal attachment loops allow suitable contents to be secured with a tether.
  • Low Profile General Purpose Pouch: two zipped compartments and elastic organisation inside the main pocket. Designed for the Ten-Speed SF Chest Rig and Dapper Satchel, it requires a check of the available mounting area when used with other platforms.

We also carry the Single Frag Grenade Pouch, a dedicated pouch for an M67-type form factor with a flap and side-release buckle. It serves a specific storage purpose rather than acting as a general utility pouch.

Trauma Kit NOW!: Compact or More Spacious

The Micro Trauma Kit NOW! consists of an outer sleeve and a removable organiser that can be withdrawn from either side. Our shop lists the two attachment types separately:

The Medium Trauma Kit NOW! offers a larger format with a removable inner carrier and elastic retention loops. Choose the size around the intended contents and their packed dimensions.

What's included: the Trauma Kits linked here are sold empty by Mission Gear Pro, without medical supplies. The separately available Tourniquet NOW! Strap is an open elastic holder; a tourniquet is not included.

Three Checks Before Choosing

  • Contents and capacity: identify the magazine type or equipment first, then check the product description.
  • Attachment and space: a MOLLE pouch requires a suitable mounting area. “Belt-Mounted” describes a different attachment method. Allow for width, height and neighbouring pouches.
  • Access and bulk: an open elastic pocket, flap, zipper or removable insert serves a different purpose. Front-mounted additions provide storage but also add depth.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can Ten-Speed Pouches Carry Items Other Than Magazines?

Yes, Ten-Speed pouches can hold similarly sized items as well as compatible magazines. Elastic construction does not replace a fit check: the item's size, shape and retention still need to suit the pocket.

Does Mission Gear Pro Ship Blue Force Gear Internationally?

Yes, we ship internationally from Germany. Available shipping options and costs for your destination are shown at checkout.
